The other day, Julianna Morlet sent me and some other girls a text message of words she felt God lay on her heart for us. These beautiful words were powerful and awakened something in my soul. I pray they do the same for you.
"Tell them I love them.
Tell them to love me with everything in them.
Tell them my love does not depend on theirs.
Tell them to be brave.
Tell them to not be afraid.
Tell them the world needs to hear their story.
Tell them they are precious to me.
Tell them I see them, where they are.
Tell them I will meet them there.
Tell them my grace covers their deepest regrets.
Tell them it's time to awake.
To be fully awake.
Tell them to be courageous."
How long will we sit here in the gloom of our day, while the urgency of the kingdom of God calls on us continually. We have purpose. We are not alone. We have a God who wants to use those who are willing, to fulfill his greater purpose. This isn't a game. This is life and death.
So we need to awake.
