When The Lord Says Go, Go

    KJ Photograghy

"And the lord said, 'Now get up and cross the Zered Valley.' So we crossed the valley." (Deuteronomy 2:13).

There's something so simple about this verse that it hit me in such a complex way.

I don't need to write a ten paragraph post on this verse, but the simplicity of these words did wonders for me.

God told them to cross the Zered Valley, so they crossed the valley.

And that's that. No questions asked and no answers given. They went simply because of faith. They could have stopped and looked at all the negativity, but they chose to remember the times The Lord was faithful.

In Psalm, David also chose to remember God's faithfulness.

"Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger withheld his compassion?"

Then I thought, "To this I will appeal: the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand.

I will remember the deeds of the lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago," (Psalm 77:9-11).

May we choose to walk even when there is uncertainty in the air. Just remember that The Lord is leading us.
